WALKING TOUR ON ETNA VOLCANO AND LUNCH
8.30/9.00 am private transfer to Sapienza Shelter (1900 mt) right inside the protected UNESCO site called “Etna Natural Park”.
Leaving the arrival station of the cable car you will see the summit craters, and with our expert guide you will visit the craters of the eruptions of 1762, 2001, 1792, will walk on cooled lava flows and face the Valle del Bove.
You’ll walk on lava fields, craters and lava flows of various ages and colors, on an alternation of sometimes harsh and irregular soils, other times soft and sandy.
Arriving at the lookout of the Valle del Bove you will stop for lunch.
You will discover as well what lies beneath the hard volcanic surface. You’ll begin the underground adventure by delving into the meanders of the volcano to discover its most hidden secrets, by visiting a tunnel of lava flow we see what happens inside a lava flow.
After a lengthy exploration of Mt. Etna and after having satisfied our senses, you will have reached the end of this adventure.
