Today you will get familiar with the heart of Umbria – Perugia. The city is famous for it rich history, art, culture and chocolate. Together with your english speaking guide you will experience the city’s charm and see the city’s main sights. Then transfer to Lungarotti vinery, in the countryside of Perugia, where you will learn about the process of wine production and taste local wines. The visit touches every aspect and every stage of winemaking, including machinery of the latest technology and environments of great suggestion, barrels and barriques, and winds along the corridor wrapped in twilight, flanked by entire walls of bottles lying in aging. Along it, you reach the “vault”, the historical archive, pride of the company, where the old vintages are kept. After the visit, you will enjoy a lunch and wine tasting at the Bistrot.
