NAPLES TO AMALFI COAST WITH STOP IN POMPEII
Meet the driver at the hotel in Naples or at the rail station and transfer to Amalfi Coast or Sorrento.
On your way you’ll stop in Pompeii for a couple of hours and you’ll visit the town. You’ll enjoy a 2 hours guided tour and discover the remains of the Roman city. See ancient ruins, destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, leaving the city buried under mountains of volcanic ash.
Your guide will take you to see houses and everyday items that were still almost intact when the city was unearthed. You’ll see places where the Romans had their fun and held banquets, and discover frescoes frozen in time, and poignant casts of citizens and their pets.
You’ll have also about 1,5 hours to have lunch before arriving in hotel (lunch not included in the price).
