MONTERIGGIONI – SIENA ALONG THE VIA FRANCIGENA
Meet your English-speaking guide at the hotel’s lobby and transfer to Monteriggioni where you’ll start a nice hiking tour on the path of Via Francigena.
Leave the city center of Monteriggioni, walk down white streets of the Sienese mountains towards San Leonardo al Lago (about 11 miles). You will be able to admire breath-taking panoramas. Pic nic lunch during the tour, with typical cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, homemade bread and good wine / or nice lunch in restaurant. You will arrive at Porta Camollia, Siena with a short transfer, to avoid the traffic street. Your guide will explain you the beauties of this important and beautiful town. The visit in Siena will last about 2hrs.
