MONOPOLI AND POLIGNANO A MARE WITH STUNNING VIEW RESTAURANT

Polignano a Mare is the birthplace of Domenico Modugno (the famous Italian singer). The oldest part of the town stands on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Adriatic sea. The main tourist attractions to visit Polignano a mare are its caves: the cave of the “Rondinelle”, the Grottone, the Palazzese cave and Ardito cave.
The tour will last about 2 hours then you’ll have an amazing lunch at Grotta Palazzese, set in a unique place in the world.
On one side it overlooks the sea, with a splendid view of the coastal landscape and the marine horizon; on the other, towards the larger cave, the cave itself being composed of two caves of different sizes.
After lunch you’ll be transferred to Monopoli. The tour start in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the “new” part of the city and follows the old historical center of Monopoli: St. Francesco Church, the Castle Charles V, the Spanish military quarter, the bastion, the walls, and the port.
