Meet the guide at the hotel and private transfer to Valpolicella region. This Italian region is famous and appreciated for the production of wines, especially Amarone.
Today you will have the chance to visit an important winery, leader in the production of Amarone.
The tour will start with the visit of Masi winery, where the process of vinification and ageing will be illustrated. The experience will continue with the visit of Serego Aligheri estate, an historic villa bought in 1353 by Pietro Alighieri, the son of the Sommo Poeta Dante Alighieri. Today, the poet’s descendants still live inside the estate. Here you will have a wine tasting of some iconic wines paired with a plateau of typical cheese.
