Day 1 WELCOME TO AMALFI COAST

Your driver will pick you up at the airport in Naples and accompany you to your hotel in Amalfi coast. You’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy this seaside town with its many shops, boutiques and restaurants. Overnight in 5* hotel in Positano, Praiano or Amalfi

Day 2 AMALFI COAST DRIVE TOUR WITH LUNCH IN WINERY

Private drive tour through the Amalfi coast. You will be able to admire the beauty of these ancient and small towns, once an important Maritime Republic. You’ll be able to visit ones of the most beautiful little towns of Amalfi coast: Amalfi – the main town with its spectacular Duomo and Piazza del Duomo square; Ravello – with its Villa Rufolo where you can have an amazing view over the coast; Positano – considered one of the most picturesque towns in Amalfi with its beautiful colored houses that lie the mountainside. The tour will take you for a visit to the establishment/cellar dug in the rock with English guiding. A walk of the closest vineyard, weather permitting and a look at some photos of the vineyards with English guiding. Tasting of wines by means of lunching at a restaurant, located 50 mt from the establishment, where you can taste, together with wines, the typical local dishes.Overnight in 5* hotel in Positano, Praiano or Amalfi

Day 3 CAPRI BOAT TRIP FROM AMALFI COAST

10.00 AM meet the captain in Amalfi coast and while sailing you’ll be able to admire the beauties of this tiny island, for example the Faraglioni Rocks, The White Grotto, Green Grotto and the Blue Grotto. During this amazing experience you will have the chance to have lunch in one of the water-front restaurants that your captain will suggest. In Capri you will have some free time to visit the island and do some shopping. Along the day you’ll have a few stops for an unforgettable swim in the crystal clear waters of Capri of along the Amalfi coast. At about 5.00 PM you’ll be back to Amalfi coast. Day 4 LEMON GROVE VISIT WITH LIMONCELLO AND GELATO TASTING

Meet the driver at the hotel and transfer to Sorrento. Find out everything about Sorrento lemons, a special kind with unique flavor, which is used for the preparation of “Limoncello” liquor. Learn about the history and see the demonstration of the production techniques that are followed in preparing the liqueur.  While you are seated inside the production workshop, you will be served four different kinds of liqueurs to taste.  Following the tasting of the liqueurs, you will have a chance to taste “babà  al limoncello” – biscuits soaked in limoncello; one of homemade marmalade fruit jams; and finally, lemon gelato that is made from lemons grown in lemon grove. Following the tastings, you can stroll the lemon groves, or weather permitting, you can visit independently “the Arguminato” – a separate lemon grove about a 5-minute walk from the factory.  You will have also some time at disposal for visit Sorrento and to have lunch in a typical restaurant. The guide will be thrilled to suggest you the best restaurants of the area. The old town of Sorrento is a wonderful place to get lost in its narrow streets and alleyways. Day 5 POMPEII AND WINE

Today you’ll explore Pompeii. This incredible place holds an intense fascination for visitors.  Following the eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A.D., Pompeii was buried and forgotten for hundreds of years. The town is one of the Wonders of the World. Our guide will take you slowly through some of the ancient streets of Pompeii where you can see baths, forums and villas built by the prosperous Romans in the year 80 B.C.   Marvel at the fabulously preserved frescos which once adorned the walls and floors of ancient villas.  You will end your tour with a nice winery where you will taste some good wine and typical dishes. Day 6 FROM AMALFI COAST TO SICILY

Private transfer to Naples apt. Flight to Catania airport (flights tickets not included). Private transfer from Catania airport to your new accommodation in Taormina.

Day 7 TAORMINA HIGHLIGHTS

Taormina is the most beautiful places in Sicily and not only. The early settlement was founded by the Greeks from Syracuse. Later, the city experienced great prosperity under the Romans. In the 19th century, it became a tourist attraction.
Taormina is situated on a plateau in the hills overlooking the bay of Giardini Naxos. When the weather is clear, Mount Etna is visible. It is a small town with a charming and historic character. Corso Umberto with its many squares, shops, and restaurants, is centrally located. Most streets are traffic free and buses park just outside the city. Day 8 COOKING CLASS IN WINERY

Private transfer to Antichi vinai, an important winery situated on the slops of the Etna Vulcano. We will create for you a unique food and wine journey. You will learn how to cook 2 dishes and a dessert all washed by fine wines. The Sicilian cuisine is famous all over the world for its arancini or Parmigiana eggplant. You can choose between fresh made pasta, arancini, eggplant Parmigiana, eggplant rolls, cannoli or cassatelle with ricotta.  After lunch you will be transferred back to you hotel. Overnight in 5*hotel in Taormina

Day 9 ETNA AND ALCANTARA VALLY OFF-ROAD

During this experience you will explore ancient villages rich in history and traditions on the slopes of the volcano. You will understand better the structure of the volcano and its eruptions and you’ll climb with 4 WD Vehicles to reach the wonderful view of Bove Valley where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view. You will cross Lava deserts alternating with flora rich in different species: apple trees, cherries, vineyards, hazelnuts, chestnut trees etc. This experience will continue with a typical Sicilian lunch. The last stop will be the beautiful valley of Alcantara, visiting a Cuba (a Byzantine chapel), and the Gorges of Alcantara (a natural lava stone canyon). Overnight in 5*hotel in Taormina

Day 10 MORNING AT LEISURE / DINNER IN ETNA WINERY

You’ll enjoy an incredible evening and a delicious dinner at Barone di Villa Grande winery.Learn about wine’s history and all about production visiting a fascinating winery. Explore the winery’s ancient cellar and learn all about the approaches and techniques which lie behind the production of these wines And, at the end of the tour, enjoy a gourmet Sicilian dinner. Enjoy mouth-watering typical delicacies splendidly paired with 5 excellent wines.
