Guest Rooms and Suites:

The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte has rooms and suites with a sea view or looking out at the Apuan Alps with every modern comfort and offering truly excellent service. What makes all the rooms special is their originality with the comforts that are combined with the unique characteristics of each room.

Most of the 88 guest rooms (including 30 suites) and all the public areas are subject to renovation works that will resume after the 2022 summer season and will be completed during winter 2022-2023. The creation of rooms and suites that can be interconnected or used separately, offering greater accommodation versatility, is also one of the innovations to be undertaken. Maintaining and enhancing the splendour and character of the hotel are the guiding principles for the undertaking, which also focuses on sustainability and on safeguarding the artistic heritage of the building.

Particular attention has been paid to the selection of the furniture, sourced from Tuscan artisans and suppliers, used to furnish the newly created spaces.

 

Restaurants & Bar

Piccolo Principe ** Michelin starred Restaurant offers an exquisitely refined cuisine that is enriched and set off by a well-stocked wine list. Piccolo Principe is open to hotel residents and non-residents alike. The restaurant is located on the veranda of the ground floor which overlooks the seafront promenade of Viareggio inside the iconic Liberty Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte.

 

Maitò Viareggio Restaurant, located on the rooftop terrace on the fifth floor, serves lunch and dinner to hotel guests and is also open for non-residents, subject to availability. The restaurant not only offers stunning views, it is also the perfect venue in Viareggio for rediscovering traditional flavours and sensations. Maitò Viareggio encapsulates the relaxing atmosphere typical of the beach restaurants found along the coast. As a fish restaurant, the cuisine is wholesome and based on timeless recipes. Classic dishes in the local Versilia, Tuscan and Italian traditions are revisited with a modern twist using high quality ingredients enhanced by contemporary aesthetic flair.
