FULL DAY UFFIZI AND ACCADEMIA GALLERY

Meet the guide at the hotel’s lobby and walk to the Uffizi Gallery.

The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most famous art galleries in Italy and in the whole world: the Gallery was designed and built by the famous architect and painter Giorgio Vasari. This facility was intended to house the offices (“uffizi” in sixteenth-century Florentine language) of the magistrates of the city. Today the Uffizi Gallery is one of the top destinations for travelers all over the world and it’s especially famous for its incredible collection of Renaissance paintings.

You will have an hour to have lunch. Then you will walk to Accademia Gallery. This museum houses the largest Michelangelo sculpture collection in the world, including, amongst others, the renowned David, The Prisoners and San Matteo. In addition, here you will find the single largest collection of paintings on gold background and also the Museum of musical instruments.
