ETNA AND ALCANTARA VALLEY OFF-ROAD
Pick up from your hotel and transfer by private car. You will arrive at the mountain slopes and you’ll have an adventurous h excursion by Jeep on the Mount Etna.
During this experience you will explore ancient villages rich in history and traditions on the slopes of the volcano. You will understand better the structure of the volcano and its eruptions and you’ll climb with 4 WD Vehicles to reach the wonderful view of Bove Valley where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view. You will cross Lava deserts alternating with flora rich in different species: apple trees, cherries, vineyards, hazelnuts, chestnut trees etc.
This experience will continue with a typical Sicilian lunch.
The last stop will be the beautiful valley of Alcantara, visiting a Cuba (a Byzantine chapel), and the Gorges of Alcantara (a natural lava stone canyon).
