The Hermitage of the Jubilee is almost more a place of the mind than a real site, something imagined specifically to shelter the spirit, fleeing from the pressing realities of our time; the ingredients are all there: an ancient tower built to defend the raids of Barbary pirates, The Epic of the Knights of Malta against the adventurous and legendary background of the; an ancient family that acquired the Hermitage in the ‘ 700 and uses it as a fortified baglio until the present day, when the last heir, Vincenza Jolanda Nifosì, decides to restore it and open it to hospitality.
Guest Rooms and Suites
20 rooms, 6 suites and 5 cottages, each are filled with the spirit of history that will take you back to the past centuries. Its antique furniture and ambience will tell you about the rich past of the place. Nevertheless, in them you will find everything you need for your comfortable stay.
Suites are divided into: Suite Grande, Suite Del Frate Nero, Suite Della Guardia, Suite Torre Del Canonico, Suite Cassiano, Suite Zia Mariula, Suite Donna Jolanda.
Other available Rooms are: Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Cottage, Deluxe – Twin Suite.
Restaurant & Bar
Specialized in the study of local terrain and of the territory’s World Heritage sites, the Eremo della Giubiliana also offers its guests a unique gourmet food and wine experience at the “Don Eusebio” restaurant where the talented young Sicilian chef, proposes a menu centred around local seasonal produce, creatively prepared and presented in such a way as to evoke the extraordinary gastronomy of the Iblean Aristocracy.
