BAROQUE, WINE AND FISHERMAN TOWN

The journey starts with Ispica Cave.

Situated between the towns of Ispica and Modica, this great fissure 13km long, is stacked with abandoned troglodyte dwellings, small sanctuaries and necropolises. The earliest signs of human occupation in the area dates back to Neolithic times. The hollows studding the walls of the gorge are a natural phenomenon of karst rock, but they were subsequently modified and adapted by humans according to their requirements.

After the tour you’ll be transferred to an important winery where you’ll have a private tour through the fascinating atmosphere of native vineyards to discover the terroir and the breeding systems used.
You will visit the winery to find out how to work the grapes and at the end you will have a tasting of wines produced on the farm accompanied by Sicilian recipes.

After lunch transfer to Marzameni, an enchanting fishing village, not far from Noto; it features in its blue venues of its waters and the pure white of the kissed by the sun houses.
